Abstract:Organizacijska struktura je pomemben del vsakega podjetja, banke in katerekoli organizacije nasploh. Oblikovana je zato, da jasno prikazuje, kateri so deli podjetja, banke oz. organizacije ter kako so ti deli med seboj povezani. Podjetja, banke in organizacije svojo organizacijsko strukturo redno objavljajo in posodobljajo v svojih letnih poročilih ter objavijo na spletnih straneh. Podjetja in organizacije uporabljajo tri vrste organizacijskih struktur, in sicer navpična (enostavna, poslovno-funkcijska in decentralizirana ali poslovno-enotna), vodoravna (produktno-matrična in projektno-matrična) in vodoravna ali procesna organizacijska struktura. Na njihovo oblikovanje vplivajo notranji in zunanji dejavniki. Organizacijske strukture v bančništvu so deležne sprememb in drugačnih oblik, kot pri ostalih vrstah organizacij. V bančništvu poznamo tri vrste organizacijskih struktur, to so poslovno-enotna, funkcionalna in divizijska organizacijska struktura. Digitalizacija in COVID-19 sta ena izmed najbolj vplivnih dejavnikov, ki pomembno vplivata na organizacijsko strukturo, delovanje, organiziranje in poslovanje bank, tudi v slovenskih poslovnih bankah. Štiri največje slovenske poslovne banke, Nova KBM d.d., NLB d.d., SKB d.d. in UniCredit Banka Slovenija d.d. imajo hierarhično poslovno-enotno organizacijsko strukturo na podlagi vrste komitenta. Omenjene slovenske poslovne banke so bile primerjane tudi na podlagi naslednjih primerjalnih kriterijev: število nivojev managementa banke, število oddelkov znotraj posameznega nivoja, število divizij, prevladujoči tip organizacijske strukture, obstoj oddelka za etičnost in družbeno odgovornost, pozicioniranost upravljanja s tveganji znotraj organizacijske strukture ter število podružnic. Podatki o teh primerjalnih kriterijih so bili pridobljeni iz letnih poročil omenjenih bank. Glavne ugotovitve so, da so štiri največje slovenske poslovne banke med seboj primerljive oz. da imajo enake lastnosti glede števila nivojev managementa banke, prevladujočega tipa organizacijske strukture, obstoju oddelka za etičnost in družbeno odgovornost ter pozicioniranosti upravljanja s tveganji znotraj organizacijske strukture, medtem ko se v številu divizij in številu podružnic med seboj razlikujejo. Podatkov o tem, koliko oddelkov znotraj posameznega nivoja imajo Nova KBM d.d., NLB d.d., SKB d.d. in UniCredit Banka Slovenija d.d., nimajo razkritih, ker so del internega akta in posledično poslovna skrivnost.

Title:Organizational structures in banking
Abstract:The organizational structure is an important part of every company, bank and any organization in general. It is designed to clearly show which parts of the company, bank or. organizations and how these parts are interconnected. Companies, banks and organizations regularly publish and update their organizational structure in their annual reports and on their websites. Companies and organizations use three types of organizational structures, namely vertical (simple, business-functional and decentralized or business-unified), horizontal (product-matrix and project-matrix) and horizontal or process organizational structure. Their design is influenced by internal and external factors. Organizational structures in banking are undergoing changes and different forms than in other types of organizations. Namely, banks publish in their annual reports what their organizational structure is and what all the components of their organizational structure are. In banking, we know three types of organizational structures, namely business-unified, functional and divisional organizational structure. Digitalization and COVID-19 are one of the most influential factors that significantly affect the organizational structure, operation, organization and operations of banks, including Slovenian commercial banks. The four largest Slovenian commercial banks, Nova KBM d.d., NLB d.d., SKB d.d. and UniCredit Banka Slovenija d.d. they have a hierarchical business-unified organizational structure based on the type of client. The mentioned Slovenian commercial banks were also compared on the basis of the following comparative criteria: number of levels of bank management bank, number of departments within each level, number of divisions, predominant type of organizational structure, existence of ethics and social responsibility department, position of risk management within organizational structure and number branches. Data on these comparative criteria were obtained from the annual reports of these banks. The main findings are that the four largest Slovenian commercial banks are comparable or. that they have the same characteristics in terms of the number of levels of bank management, the predominant type of organizational structure, the existence of the ethics and social responsibility department and the positioning of risk management within the organizational structure, while the number of divisions and number of branches differ. Data on how many departments within each level Nova KBM d.d., NLB d.d., SKB d.d. and UniCredit Banka Slovenija d.d., are not disclosed because they are part of an internal act and consequently a business secret.
