Abstract:V teoretičnem delu magistrskega dela smo predstavili glasbeno obliko muzikal, danes poznano po celem svetu. Podatke smo statistično obdelali v programu SPSS. S pomočjo tabel smo prikazali dobljene rezultate in jih interpretirali.

Title:Use and performance of musical in the 4th and 5th grade of primary school
Abstract:In the theoretical part of the master's thesis, we introduced musicals, a music form nowadays known throughout the world, and defined its beginnings, development and its contemporary role. In the empirical part, we wanted to explore whether class teachers who teach in the 4th and 5th grade address and perform musicals in music classes. 100 primary class teachers of 4th and 5th grade participated in the research. Data were collected in September 2020 by a survey questionnaire created in the 1ka online survey application. The data were statistically processed in the SPSS program. Tables were used to represent and interpret the obtained results. The answers to the open-ended questions were categorized, and the categories were later presented in a table. The following statistical methods were used to analyze the results: absolute (f) and relative frequencies (f %), the Chi-Square test and the Kullback–Leibler divergence. The results showed that the performance of a musical depends on the teaching environment of the teacher. We found that the teaching, performance, and the number of hour’s teachers devote to reading and performing musicals do not depend on the age group of the teacher. Research has shown that class teachers discuss and perform musicals.
