Abstract:
V magistrskem delu smo se ukvarjali s področjem filozofskega relativizma. Najprej smo opisali zgodovinski razvoj filozofskega relativizma. Temu sledi definiranje relativizma ter opisi različnih vrst filozofskega relativizma. V magistrskem delu smo predpostavili, da vse oblike relativizma niso smiselne, da je pojem relativizma in relativnega slabo definiran, da se moramo o relativizmu pogovarjati na specifičen način in predpostavili smo, da je za relativizem bistvena ločnica med absolutnim in relativnim. V magistrskem delu smo odgovarjali na vprašanja, kako se relativizem povezuje z metafiziko, ali realizem zanika relativizem in ali pravi relativizem predstavlja močna oblika relativizma. Ugotovili smo, da ima filozofski relativizem obliko, da je fenomen X odvisen od neodvisne spremenljivke Y. V magistrskem delu smo zavrnili globalni relativizem. Ugotavljali smo, da se moramo o relativizmu pogovarjati na specifičen način ter da za relativizem ni bistvena ločnica med absolutnim in relativnim. Ugotovili smo tudi, da vrsta metafizike, ki jo zagovarjamo, predpostavlja ali zanika relativizem, da realizem omogoča oblike relativizma in da pravi relativizem zajema le šibka oblika relativizma.

Title:
Philosophical relativism
Abstract:
In the thesis we dealth with the field of philosopnical relativism. Firstly we describe the historical development of philosophical relativism. This is followed by the definition of relativism and descriptions of various types of philosophical relativism. In the thesis we assumed that not all forms of relativism make sense, that the notion of relativism and adjectiv relative are poorly defined, that we need to talk about relativism in a specific way, and we assumed that the difference between absolute and relative is essential for relativism. In thesis we ansower questions of how relativism relates to metaphysics, wheter realism denies relativism and wheter true form of relativism is strong version of relativism. We argue that philosophical relativism have form that the phenomen X depends on the independent variable Y. We have denied global relativism, we argue that we need to talk about relativism in a specific way and for relativism distinction between absolute and relative is not essential. We argue that metaphysics presupposes and enables or denies relativism, that realism allows for certains form of relativism and that true relativism is only codified in weak variation of relativism.
