Title:Analysis of introduction of machine vision into production systems
Abstract:Machine vision is a combination of complex hardware and software that allows a machine or robot to perceive its surroundings and products on the assembly line with the aim of improving the implementation of production processes. The purpose of implementation of machine vision into production system is therefore primarily to speed up work operations, increase product quality and reduce emissions. The purpose of the master's thesis is to present in detail the components of the machine vision system, the process of its implementation into production and its role in industry 4.0. In the second part, the thesis focuses on both, the technological and economic effects that machine vision brings to industrial companies. Based on this information, I proposed steps for the implementation of machine vision into production system, according to which companies can orient themselves when introducing machine vision and can help them to gain insight into whether such an investment is appropriate for them at all.
Keywords:Machine vision, optimization of production, technological effects, economic effects, production management, Industry 4.0
