Abstract:V današnjem času sta globalizacija in razvoj tehnologije povzročila številne spremembe.

Title:The impact of digitalization in mobile banking
Abstract:Globalization and the development of technology have nowadays brought about many changes. As the whole society began to change, so did the needs and wishes of the individuals. Banks began to follow that needs and wishes; moreover, they started to take advantage of the new opportunities brought by technological development. Many users have been enjoying the benefits of mobile banking for quite some time. Mobile banking is available anywhere and anytime, which makes financial business much easier. In a business environment, in addition to a well-designed security policy and checking the consistency of theory with practice, a good measure of common sense is essential when using internet services. Slovenian banks are already intensively following trends in online banking and introducing new technologies. This is seen in mobile and online banking, which are becoming increasingly popular among Slovenian customers. The digital age offers a lot of advantages, but we must also be aware of its risks. The prevalence of digital banking is proof that the internet has gained enough credibility and trust that individuals feel carefree while managing their funds in digital form. Moreover, banks are facing the challenge of designing and creating a good mobile application that will satisfy the customers. The more the organization invests in user experience, the more likely they are to actively develop loyal users who will love using their services and will keep coming back. The main competitive advantage is the maximum usability and simplicity of the application. The present master’s thesis examines the impact of digital on traditional banking and its transformation into modern banking. In the first part, we defined the concept of modern and mobile banking as well as the advantages and disadvantages brought by new technologies. Moreover, we presented the trends of electronic banking in Slovenia and mobile banking around the world. We also presented various technological and non- -technological restrictions that organizations have to face when introducing e-commerce.
