Title:Razvoj in evalvacija preventivno-intervencijskega programa za preprečevanje medvrstniškega nasilja med otroki in mladostniki v vzgojnem zavodu

Abstract:Medvrstniško nasilje predstavlja pereč problem znotraj vseh izobraževalnih ustanov, raziskave pa poročajo o posebej pogostih primerih znotraj vzgojnih zavodov. Otroci in mladostniki v vzgojnih zavodih spadajo v ogroženo skupino, ki je izpostavljena številnim dejavnikom tveganja. Veliko jih doživi različne oblike zlorab že znotraj primarne družine, večinoma pa so pri njih prisotne tudi čustvene in vedenjske motnje. V raziskavi nas je zanimala dinamika medvrstniškega nasilja znotraj vzgojnih zavodov. Glavni cilj raziskave je bil, da na podlagi anket o medvrstniškem nasilju, ki so jih izpolnjevali otroci in mladostniki, nameščeni v vzgojnem zavodu, in intervjujev vzgojiteljev iz zavoda razvijemo in evalviramo preventivno-intervencijski program za preprečevanje medvrstniškega nasilja v vzgojnem zavodu. Rezultati, ki smo jih dobili s pomočjo baterije vprašalnikov večinoma niso pokazali statistično pomembnih sprememb v različnih izidih otrok in mladostnikov po izvedbi programa. V interpretaciji smo poskušali odgovoriti na zastavljena raziskovalna vprašanja ter predstaviti mogoče vzroke za dobljene rezultate. Kot glavno vodilo za oblikovanje in izvedbo programov v prihodnje priporočamo predvsem prilagoditev vsebin in izvedbe starosti udeležencev ter hkratno vključitev celotnega sistema (učiteljev, staršev, otrok in mladostnikov ter vzgojiteljev). Ker se nasilje v vzgojnih zavodih prepogosto dojema kot normalen del vsakdana, zaključujemo, da je delo na tem področju vsekakor pomembno, smiselno in potrebno.

Title:Development and evaluation of a bullying preventive intervention program for children and adolescents in a juvebile home
Abstract:Peer violence is a serious issue in all educational institutions and the research shows, it is especially common within the juvenile homes. Children and adolescents there are exposed to and threatened by numerous risk factors. The majority of them experience various types of abuse in their own households and suffer from emotional and behavioural disorders. The research examines the dynamics of peer violence within the juvenile homes. The main goal was to develop and evaluate a peer violence preventive intervention program inside a juvenile home, based on a questionnaire regarding peer violence that has been filled out by children and adolescents living there. The results, which were acquired through a battery-type questionnaire, carried out before and after completing the program, have not shown any statistically important changes. In the Interpretation, we tried to answer the set research questions and present the possible explanation for the results. For future references, we recommend the leading principle for shaping and executing of the programs to be predominantly the adjustment of contents according to age of participants and simultaneously including the system as a whole (i.e. professors and teachers, parents, children and adolescents). Because of the attitude towards peer violence, which is too often perceived as a normal part of our daily lives, we concluded that improvement is substantial and needed.
