Abstract:Prostorska predstavljivost predstavlja eno ključnih sposobnosti za mnoge poklice. Magistrska naloga podaja upravičenost slednje prakse in priporočila ob naslednji prenovi učnega načrta tehnike in tehnologije.

Title:Comparison of the development of spatial ability with the introduction of 3d modeling between 3., 6., 7. and 8. class of elementary school
Abstract:Spatial ability presents one of the key abilities for many various professions. The development is possible in different ways. In primary schools we are developing spatial ability in the school subject technology with the aid of 3D modeling. In the school syllabus for primary schools 3D modeling is planned for the eighth grade. Many teachers have already been using it since the sixth grade. This thesis examines the usage of the later and gives advice towards the change in the school curriculum for technology. Reviewed has been the literature in the fields of brain function, spatial ability and 3D modeling. Empirical research has identified the development of spatial ability through 3D modeling by class and gender. It has been proven that teaching 3D modeling in the sixth grade of primary school is justified. The results indicate a rather similar development of spatial ability with the aid of 3D modeling in all primary school grades. The survey also shows no significant differences between genders. The next revision of the technology curriculum proposes an increase in teaching goals in the field of spatial ability. It is also suggests the introduction of learning 3D modeling in the sixth grade of primary schools. When renewing the concept of extended stay, it is suggested that the goals of 3D modeling be incorporated into it.
