Abstract:Internet stvari (angl. Internet of Things, v nadaljevanju IoT) predstavlja enega izmed stebrov interneta prihodnosti. Pametne naprave so vse bolj povezane in kot take spreminjajo naš vsakdan. Avtomatizirana medsebojna komunikacija fizičnih naprav, strojev in sistemov podjetjem in fizičnim osebam prinaša skoraj neskončno priložnosti za izboljšanje učinkovitosti, povečanje profitabilnosti in uvedbo inovativnih poslovnih modelov. Z IoT pa so povezane tudi mobilne aplikacije, ki povezujejo in spremljajo delovanje pametnih naprav v hiši ali podjetju. Mobilne aplikacije predstavljajo priložnost, da smo na vsakem koraku seznanjeni z dogajanjem in spremljanjem našega okolja. Magistrsko delo lahko razdelimo na dva dela. V prvem, teoretičnem delu, smo predstavili definicijo IoT, ki predstavlja naprave v pametnem domu. Osredotočili smo se na povezovanje naprav v internet, protokole, ki omogočajo dvostransko komunikacijo med napravami in so brezžično povezane v omrežje ter standarde, potrebne za delovanje naprav. Varnost in zasebnost podatkov je ključnega pomena, kljub udobju, ki ga prinaša pametni dom. Zaradi nenehnega razvijanja trga smo predstavili tudi trende na področju IoT, ki se nenehno spreminjajo in s sabo prinašajo inovativnosti. V teoretičnem delu je predstavljena tudi definicija mobilne aplikacije z opredeljeno zgodovino. Našteli smo vrste, tipe in kategorije mobilnih aplikacij ter podrobneje predstavili mobilne operacijske sisteme Android, iOS ter Windows. Drugi del magistrskega dela smo podrobno predstavili mobilno aplikacijo NEO podjetja Telekom Slovenije. Osredotočili smo se na uporabniški vmesnik in funkcionalnosti mobilne aplikacije ter podrobno predstavili registracijo v samo aplikacijo. Pri pametnem boksu NEO smo opisali in predstavili napredne funkcije same naprave ter podrobneje predstavili pametne naprave in senzorje, ki delujejo preko pametnega boksa. S pomočjo elektronike, internetne povezave in senzorjev ter ostale strojne opreme lahko te naprave med seboj komunicirajo in si izmenjujejo podatke. Prav tako jih lahko na daljavo opazujemo in nadzorujemo ter upravljamo z njimi. Opisali smo razvoj in vlogo digitalne televizije ter predstavili pakete širokopasovnih fiksnih storitev, ki jih mora imeti naročnik Telekoma Slovenije za delovanje pametnega boksa.

Title:Smart home with mobile application neo of telekom slovenia d.d.
Abstract:Internet of Things (IoT) represents one of the pillars of the internet in the future. Smart devices are becoming more and more connected and, as such, are changing our daily lives. Automated communication of physical devices, machines, and systems enables companies and individuals almost endless opportunities to improve efficiency, increase profitability, and introduce innovative business models. IoT is also associated with mobile applications that connect and monitor the performance of smart devices in a home or business. Mobile applications offer us an opportunity to be aware of the developments and to monitor our surroundings at every step. The master's thesis can be divided into two parts. In the first, theoretical part, we introduced the definition of IoT, which represents devices in a smart home. We focused on connecting devices to the internet, protocols that allow two-way communication between devices and are wirelessly connected to the network, and standards required for the operation of devices. Data security and privacy are crucial, despite the convenience that a smart home brings with it. Due to the constant development of the market, we have also presented trends in the field of Internet of Things, which are constantly changing and bringing new innovations. The theoretical part also presents the definition of a mobile application with a defined history. We have listed different kinds, types, and categories of mobile apps, and introduced Android, iOS, and Windows mobile operating systems in more detail. In the second part of the master's thesis, we presented in detail the mobile application NEO of Telekom Slovenije. We focused on the user interface and functionality of the mobile application and presented the registration in the application itself. At NEO Smart Boxing, we have described and introduced the advanced features of the device itself and described the smart devices and sensors that operate via Smart Box. With the help of electronics, internet connection, sensors, and other hardware, these devices can communicate and exchange data with each other. They can also be monitored, controlled and operated remotely. We described the development and role of digital television and introduced the fixed-line broadband packages that Telekom Slovenija's subscriber must have to operate a smart box.
