Abstract:Informacijske rešitve so dandanes nepogrešljivi del pri poslovanju podjetij. Podjetja si preko njih zagotavljajo konkurenčnost na trgu. Z uvedbami novih informacijskih rešitev podjetja poskrbijo za lažji in hitrejši pregled vseh faz poslovanja. Naš namen je bil, da v teoretičnem delu predstavimo namen, vrste in način uvedbe informacijskih rešitev v podjetju. V praktičnem delu diplomskega seminarja smo predstavili podjetje Slovenske železnice in njene odvisne družbe, še posebej SŽ-Vleka in tehnika, katero bo uvedba novih informacijskih rešitev najbolj zadevala. V praktičnem delu smo predstavili težave obstoječega informacijskega sistema in poiskali vzroke za uvedbo novih informacijskih rešitev. V nadaljevanju so predstavljene organizacijska struktura programa Maximo in SAP ter pozitivne spremembe, ki jih uvedba teh rešitev prinaša na področju vzdrževanja, proizvodnje, prodaje, nabave in skladiščno materialnega poslovanja.

Title:IMPACT OF THE INTRODUCTION OF A NEW INFORMATION SOLUTION ON THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THE WORK PROCESSES IN THE COMPANY SŽ-VIT
Abstract:Information solution technology systems are an indispensable part of companies’ business today. by means of them, companies are competitive on the market. By introducing new information technology system solutions, a company provides an easier and faster overview of all phases of business. In the theoretical part, the purpose of the thesis was to present the purpose, nature, and method of introducing information solutions in the company. In the practical part of the thesis, we defined the presentation of the company Slovenian Railways and its subsidiaries, especially the SŽ-Vleka in tehnika, which will most likely introduce new information technology system solutions. In the practical part, we presented the problems of the existing information system and found the causes of introducing new information technology system solutions. Further, the organizational structure of the Maximo and SAP program is presented, as well as positive changes which the introduction of these solutions brings in the field of rising, production, sale, purchase, and storage of the material business.
