Title:Določitev optimalne mešanice betona z uporabo PP mlevcev kot nadomestilo mineralnega agregata

Abstract:V projektni nalogi smo določali optimalno betonsko mešanico, pri kateri bi delež agregata zamenjali s polipropilenskimi (PP) mlevci. Nadomestili smo 1,5 %, 2 % in 5 % mase agregata 0/4, ter zamešali še etalon za primerjavo. Nadomestili smo tudi 30 % mase cementa z elektrofiltrskim pepelom. Želeli smo pridobiti beton z izboljšanimi lastnostmi. Ugotovili smo, da je betonu mogoče povečati tlačno in ohraniti upogibno natezno trdnost.

Title:Choosing the Optimal Concrete Mixture by Using PP Mills as a Substitute for Mineral Aggregate
Abstract:Plastics are one of the biggest environmental pollutants, and concrete is (right after water) the most massively used material [2]. In the project work we were choosing the optimal concrete mix, at witch we would substitute a share of aggregate with polypropylene (PP) mills. We substituted 1,5 %, 2 % and 5 % of mass of aggregate 0/4, and mixed an etalon for comparison. We also substituted 30 % mass of cement with fly ash. We wanted to make concrete with improved characteristics. We found that the concrete`s compressive strength can be improved without lowering its tensile strength, and that the most suitable of the samples we made is the one that contains 2 % of substitute.
