Abstract:
V diplomskem delu opišemo algoritem za trapezno delitev mnogokotnika in njegovo uporabo za dodeljevanje oznak mnogokotnikom. Predstavimo problem trapezne delitve, opišemo algoritem trapezne delitve mnogokotnika z množico odprtih trapezov ter algoritem za dodeljevanje oznak. Algoritem trapezne delitve testiramo na množici mnogokotnikov in analiziramo rezultate. Preverimo, če je možno s pomočjo trapezne delitve mnogokotnika najti ugoden položaj za vpis oznake.

Title:
Application of polygon trapezoidation
Abstract:
In this thesis, an algorithm for polygon trapezoidation and its usage for polygon labelling is described. The polygon trapezoidation problem is presented and an algorithm for polygon trapezoidation with sets of open trapezoids is described. The algorithm for polygon trapezoidation is tested on multiple polygons and the outcome is analysed. The possibility of successfully finding an appropriate position of labels using trapezoidation is considered at the end.
