Abstract:V diplomski nalogi je predstavljena varnost udeležencev v cestnem prometu, s poudarkom na prometnih nesrečah, njihovih najpogostejših vzrokih in posledicah, ki se kažejo kot poškodbe udeležencev ali smrt le-teh. Kot vzrok prometnih nesreč poznamo mnogo dejavnikov, najpogostejša med njimi pa sta še vedno prekomerna hitrost vozil in zloraba alkohola. Pri prometnih nesrečah pa ne moremo mimo t. i. skoraj nesreč, ki se zgodijo, ko voznik pravočasno odreagira, da do dejanske nesreče ne pride. Takšne situacije so pogostejše kot prave prometne nesreče. Raziskava prometnih nesreč se v diplomski nalogi preseli s teoretičnega dela k raziskovalnemu, in sicer z raziskavo prometne varnosti v občini Idrija. Bolj kot prometne nesreče, katerih vzrok sta hitrost in alkohol, je v ospredje postavljena najranljivejša skupina udeležencev v prometu ter njihove ovire, ki jih doživljajo v vsakdanjem življenju. Spodbujanje krajanov k opustitvi vse večje uporabe individualnih motornih sredstev je ključno za njihovo zdravje in posledično tudi za zdravje mesta. Cilj je tako opozoriti na morebitne napake v cestni infrastrukturi, ki zavirajo in onemogočajo gibanje domačinov oziroma predstavljajo nevarnost ob izvajanju le-tega. Ker pa je idrijska kotlina nekoliko oddaljena od drugih večjih krajev, je za normalno pretočnost prometa glavnega pomena edina povezava po razgibanem terenu – trasa Keltika. Cestišče z ene strani ločujeta potok v globoki soteski, z druge strani pa strma pobočja, ki predstavljajo problematiko krušenja kamenja. Za odpravo tovrstne težave bi veliko vlogo lahko odigrala izgradnja galerije na najbolj problematičnem cestnem odseku.

Title:Contentment locals of idrija with road safety and police measures
Abstract:The following paper presents the safety of traffic participants, with the focus lies on traffic accidents, their most common causes and consequences, which are shown as injuries to the participants or deaths of the participants. There are many known factors for traffic accidents, but the most common among them are excessive speed and alcohol abuse. In the case of traffic accidents, we can't ignore the so-called almost accidents, which happen, when a driver reacts in a timely manner to prevent the actual accident. These kinds of situations are more common than real traffic accidents. The research of traffic accidents in this paper is transferred from a theoretical part to the research part, with the research of traffic safety in the municipality of Idrija. In the foreground we have the most vulnerable group of traffic participants and the obstacles they experience in daily life, more than the traffic accidents, which are caused by speed and alcohol. Encouraging the residents to abandon the increasing usage of individual motor vehicles is crucial for their health and consequently to the city health. Thus, the goal is to warn about possible faults in the road infrastructure that slow down and even prevent the movement of locals and pose a risk in the implementation of this. But since the Idrija basin is somewhat distant from other major cities, the only connection for a normal flow of traffic is the route known as Keltika route. The road is from one side separated by a stream in a deep gorge, and from the other by steep slopes, which represent a problem of stone grinding. To overcome these problems, the construction of a gallery on the most problematic road sections could play a major role.
