Abstract:
Magistrsko delo raziskuje trenutno stanje na področju ročnega orodja in integracijo le-tega v življenje uporabnikov. Raziskava uporabnikov in trga kaže na številne tržne vrzeli in predstavlja izjemne možnosti za oblikovanje nove linije orodja, ki jo sestavljajo: kladivo, klešče, izvijač, nastavljivi ključ in univerzalni nož. Vzporedno z industrijskim oblikovanjem so nastajali elementi blagovne znamke, opravljena pa je bila tudi kratka raziskava s področja pakiranja produkta. Takšno ročno orodje odlično vključuje v sodobno okolje in se hkrati prilega življenjskemu slogu, v katerem dizajn igra pomembno vlogo.

Title:
Modern take on hand tools
Abstract:
The master thesis explores the current state of hand tools and their integration in user’s lives. User and market research inform of gaps in the market that present a unique opportunity for a new line of tools that consists of: hammer, screwdriver, pliers, adjustable wrench and utility knife. Apart from product design, some branding elements were created, and a brief packaging exploration was done. The tools integrate well with the modern environment and fit the design-forward lifestyle.
