Title:Študija o stroškovnem vidiku smiselnosti ukinitve skladišča v hčerinski družbi ETI Madžarska podjetja ETI d.d.

Abstract:Skladišča podjetjem služijo kot blažilci negotovosti materialnega toka, ki kljub zastojem v proizvodnji in transportu omogočajo pravočasno dostavo blaga končnim odjemalcem. S tem podjetja dvigujejo zadovoljstvo svojih končnih odjemalcev s poslovanjem podjetja in preprečujejo beg h konkurenci. Prav zaradi teh razlogov je odločitev o ukinitvi skladišča strateškega pomena in jo je potrebno podrobno analizirati. V magistrskem delu smo analizirali stroškovni vidik smiselnosti ukinitve skladišča ETI HU, saj le-to podjetju trenutno predstavlja najbolj pereč problem. Raziskave smo se lotili z dvostopenjskim procesom reševanja problema, kjer smo v prvi fazi izdelali simulacijski model poslovanja podjetja s skladiščem ETI HU, v drugi fazi pa smo izdelali simulacijsko-optimizacijski model za neposreden transport blaga grosistom na Madžarskem z novim manjšim optimalno upravljanim skladiščem v matičnem podjetju. Na podlagi razvitih modelov smo nato oblikovali dve stroškovni funkciji, s katerimi smo izračunali celotne stroške poslovanja podjetja, tako v trenutni, kot tudi v simulirani situaciji. Stroškovna funkcija je sestavljena iz treh glavnih kategorij stroškov, in sicer letnih stroškov priprave blaga na odpremo v podjetju, letnih stroškov celotnega transporta in letnih stroškov skladiščenja. Simulacijske modele smo oblikovali v programskem okolju Netlogo, izračune stroškov pa smo zaradi njihove kompleksnosti sprogramirali v programu Matlab. Čeprav smo na stroške gledali skozi izračunana matematična upanja, predvsem pri izračunu stroškov skladiščenja, in je končen rezultat neka groba ocena skupnih stroškov poslovanja podjetja, lahko brez večjih tveganj trdimo, da so dobljeni rezultati dovolj dobri za sprejemanje tako strateško pomembnih odločitev.

Title:A Cost-benefit Study of Closing Warehouse ETI Hungary of Company ETI d.d.
Abstract:Warehouses serve companies as buffer of uncertainty in the material flow, which, despite the delays in production and transport, enables them timely delivery of goods to final customers. With this, companies raise the satisfaction of their final customers with the business of the company and prevent their escape to competition. For these reason, the decision to close the warehouse is of strategic importance and needs to be thoroughly analyzed. In this thesis, we focus on cost-benefit analysis of closing ETI HU warehouse, which is currently the most pressing problem of the company. We started the research with two-step process of solving the problem. In the first phase, we developed the simulation model of the company with the warehouse ETI HU. In the second phase, we developed a simulation-optimization model for the direct transport of goods to customers in Hungary with a new small optimally managed warehouse in company ETI d. d.. We then created two cost function, based on the developed models, with which we calculated the total costs of the company’s operations, both in the current and in the simulated situation. The cost function consists of three main categories of costs: the annual costs of preparing the goods for dispatch in the company, the annual costs of the entire transport and the annual costs of storage. We build the simulation models in the Netlogo program environment and use Matlab program for the cost calculations, due to their complexity. Although we looked at costs through calculated mathematical hopes, especially when we calculated costs of storage, and the final results are a rough estimate of the total cost of a company’s operations, we can claim without major risk, that the obtained results are good enough for taking such strategically important decisions.
