Title:Analysis of nonverbal communication of presidential candidates Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump on presidential debates
Abstract:Nonverbal communication is an important, however oftenly ignored part of communication. It is especially important that it is mastered by people who professionally communicate with the others. During the last year, we were able to observe the turbulent presidential election in the United States of Americ. Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump were running for the position. During their campaign they engaged in three presidential debates within which voters were able to directly address questions to candidates. In the diploma thesis, we examined the non-verbal communication of candidates during debates. We conducted a qualitative and quantitative analysis of all three debates that are accessible online. We have created a system of studying non-verbal communication, which was broken down in several specific areas. We found that the candidates used a varied range of body language components, which significantly influenced their performances.
