Abstract:
Mestna mobilistika je v današnjemu moderniziranemu času zelo pomembna za vse ljudi, ter se pričakuje od mesta da zagotovi različne specializirane storitve za pomoč pri mobilnosti ljudi katerima mestna mobilistika predstavlja težavo, kot so ranljive skupine. V ranljive skupine sodijo: starši z otroškimi vozički, starejše osebe in osebe z invalidnostjo, oz. slepi, slabovidni, gluhi, slabega sluha in ljudje na invalidskih vozičkih. Zaradi nedostopnosti do storitev mestnega prevoza ter težav z katerimi se srečujejo ranljive skupine medtem ko se premikajo po mestu, veliko se zmanjšuje njihova neodvisnost in prihaja do izoliranja teh ljudi od želenih družbenih aktivnosti. Za preprečevanje tega in kako bi ranljive skupine bile aktivno vključene v vse želene aktivnosti, potrebno je uvesti v Varaždin različne inovacije z katerimi bi se pomagalo tem ljudem v vsakdanji mestni mobilistiki. Mesto trenutno ponuja edino zvočne semaforje na določenih lokacijah ki so namenjeni za slepe osebe. Zelo je pomembno izboljšati trenutno stanje mobilistike ranljivih skupin v mestu Varaždin, zaradi tega da se te skupine ljudi nebi počutile izolirane od strani družbe. Intervju ranljivih skupin je prikazal vpogled iz prve roke o njihovim težavah in potrebne akcije ki bodo eliminirale te težave so: uvajanje mestnih minibusov in specializiranih taksi vozil, ter popolno izboljšanje in prilagajanje infrastrukture v Varaždinu zaradi odprave šibkih točk.

Title:
Improving mobility in the city of Varaždin
Abstract:
Urban mobility, in current modernized time, is very important for all people and it is needed from a city to give various specialized services for assistance in mobility of people who have difficulties in urban mobility, like vulnerable groups. Vulnerable groups are: parents with prams, elderly and people with disabilities, i.e. blind, purblind, deaf, hard of hearing and people in wheelchairs. With inaccessibility in urban transport services and problems which vulnerable groups encounter while moving around city, their independence is at risk and occurs isolation of these people from their wanted social activities. To prevent this and so that vulnerable groups would be actively involved in all wanted activities, it is needed to introduce various innovations in the city of Varaždin which would help them with their everyday urban mobility. Varaždin currently offers only audible traffic lights in selected locations designed for the blind. Therefore, it is highly important to upgrade the current state of mobility for vulnerable groups in the city of Varaždin, so that these people wouldn’t be isolated from the society. Interview of the vulnerable groups gave the first-hand insight on the their problems, therefore needed actions which will eliminate the problems are: urban minibuses and specialized taxi vehicles, and also full improvement of the infrastructure in Varaždin to eliminate weak points.
