Title:Determine static and dynamic loads of punching tools for punching of aluminium alloys
Abstract:Talum from Kidričevo among other things produces slugs for the packaging industry and for technical parts. Among others, in June 2017 the record fell, where 3.350 tons of slugs were produced and sale in just one month. To achieve such results, they are needed modern technology and knowledge of the technological process. So, the company concluded, with the upgraded power of presses, to make new tools for punching for higher productivity. My task was first analytical, then numerical determinate loads of tool. The appropriate dimensions are determinate by calculations, but it must take into account addition influential factors. These results will help us in future steps of tool development. Next task was correction and optimization of the tool and then choose the optimal die set. The last chapter is an evaluate costs because it is the goal of any tool to justify the cost of development and production.
Keywords:punching, punching tools, analysis of loads, optimization of the punching tool
