Abstract:
Magistrsko delo raziskuje značilnosti slovenskega rumenega medijskega prostora in odnos uporabnikov do teh medijev v povezavi z medijsko pismenostjo. Medijska pismenost uporabnikom omogoča sposobnost razumevanja in kritičnega presojanja medijskih informacij.

Title:
Media literacy of tabloid users
Abstract:
This master’s thesis studies the characteristics of the Slovenian tabloid media space and the attitude of its users towards these media relating to media literacy. Media literacy enables users to understand and critically evaluate media information. Tabloid media in their content include unique features that differentiate them from non-tabloid media. With the help of scientific literature and analysis of the contents of selected Slovenian media, we explored which features they include and how are they reflected. We acquired user’s knowledge using a web survey.
