Title:Mednarodne preiskave terorizma : diplomsko delo visokošolskega študijskega programa Informacijska varnost

Abstract:Diplomska naloga predstavlja današnji terorizem v svetu, predvsem v Evropskem prostoru in kaj v smislu boja proti terorizmu prispeva Republika Slovenija. Predstavlja opis in razlago pravnih vidikov in operativnih posegov, ki jih izvajajo nacionalne in mednarodne organizacije v boju proti terorizmu in kriminalu. V uvodu je zajet kratek opis terorizma in zgodovine ter njegove vrste, načini in kako se oborožujejo in financirajo teroristične skupine. Predstavlja tudi, katere so tiste teroristične skupine, ki so v zadnjem času vzpostavile največ pozornosti v svetu in prizadejale največ škode. Jedro diplomske naloge pa zavzema celotno strukturo po kateri poteka mednarodni protiterorizem. Tukaj stopijo v ospredje Združeni narodi, Europol, Interpol in druge mednarodne organizacije, ki s svojimi ukrepi in prizadevanji bijejo bitko s terorizmom. Opisani so njihovi mehanizmi, kako se s tem spopadajo v pravnem vidiku in kakšna so prihodnja prizadevanja za izboljšanje samega preprečevanja in zatiranja terorizma. Opisuje spremembe in ukrepe na področju zakonodaje v Evropski uniji, prikazuje nove direktive in regulacije, ter na kakšen način in koliko Slovenija s svojimi varnostnimi ukrepi na mejah, v notranjosti ali zunaj Slovenije prispeva v protiterorizmu. V zaključku so opredeljene hipoteze in rezultati same diplomske naloge oz. raziskave. Opisan je tudi celoten potek dela in kaj so bili ključni elementi raziskave. Podane so tudi zaključne misli in ugotovitve, katere sem pridobil med samim delom diplomske naloge in raziskave.

Title:International investigations of terrorism
Abstract:The diploma research represents today’s terrorism in the world, especially in the European area and what the Republic of Slovenia contributes to counterterrorism. It represents a description and an explanation about legal aspects and operational procedures that are performed by national and international organizations in the fight against terrorism and crime. The introduction contains a short description about terrorism, the history, types and ways of terrorism and how they arm or finance themselves, and also something about the most known terrorist groups that caused the most destruction in the last years. The core of the diploma research contains the whole description of the structure through which the international counterterrorism works. Here the research talks about United Nations, Interpol, Europol and other international organizations that are fighting with their measures and efforts against terrorism. The core contains a description about the mechanisms that the organizations use and how they fight against terrorism in the legal aspects. Next follows the European Union and its changes and measures on the field of law and what is the role of Slovenia with its security measures on the borders and also inside and outside Slovenia. In the end there are defined hypothesizes and results of the diploma research. The description contains how the research was conducted and what were the key issues for the research. The end also contains my ending thoughts and conclusions that I acquired during the diploma research.
