Abstract:
V prispevku poskušamo izgraditi teorijo, ki bi vsaj implicitno definirala pojem vzročnosti. Teorija vzročnosti, ki jo poskušamo opredeliti, mora biti analitično resnična in mora zagotoviti analizo pojma vzročnosti tako, da bo resnična v vseh možnih svetovih in ne samo v dejanskem svetu. Naš cilj ni zgolj teorija, ki bi bila samo kontingentno resnična. V tekstu je vzročnost opredeljena kot relacija, ki je opazljiva (v Humovem pomenu) in ni izvedljiva na druge (opazljive) lastnosti in relacije med posameznimi dogodki (stanji stvari). Nato so na podlagi domene o singularnem povzročanju definirane nekatere osnovne značilnosti, vzročnosti, vzročne relacije, vzročne nujnosti in nomične nujnosti.Singularna teorija vzročnosti ne izključuje možnosti, da obstajajo zakoni narave in da so posamezne vzročne relacije instance zakonov. Vzročna pojasnitev (zakaj) ni reducirana na nomično pojasnitev (kako), ker samo dejstvo, da obstaja vzročna relacija, še ni garancija za obstoj narave.

Title:
Causality - a draft of realistic theory
Abstract:
In this paper, we try to build a theory that would at least implicitly define the concept of causality. The theory of causation that we are trying to define must be analytically true and must provide an analysis of the notion of causation so that it is true in all possible worlds and not just in the actual world. Our goal is not merely a theory that is only contingently true. In the text, causality is defined as a relation that is observable (in Hume's sense) and is not applicable to other (observable) properties and relations between individual events (states of affairs). Then, based on the domain of singular causation, some basic characteristics, causality, causal relations, causal necessity and nomic necessity are defined. The singular theory of causation does not exclude the possibility that there are laws of nature and that individual causal relations are instances of laws. Causal explanation (why) is not reduced to nomic explanation (how), because the mere fact that there is a causal relation is not yet a guarantee for the existence of nature.
