Abstract:
Teoretična izhodišča: Bolečina v križu je pogost problem, pojavlja se pri aktivni populaciji in predvsem pri starostnikih. Bolečina v križu je lahko posledica prevelikega indeksa telesne mase, težkega fizičnega dela, nepravilnega sklanjanja in dvigovanja. Bistveno vlogo pri obravnavi pacienta z bolečino v križu na domu ima patronažna medicinska sestra. Z raziskavo smo želeli ugotoviti, kateri so glavni negovalni problemi pri pacientki z bolečino v križu in kakšen je vpliv bolečine v križu na opravljanje vsakodnevnih aktivnosti. Metodologija raziskovanja: Uporabljena je bila deskriptivna metoda dela. Raziskava je temeljila na kvalitativni metodologiji, izvedli smo študijo primera in uporabili tehniko intervjuja, ki je vseboval vprašanja odprtega tipa. Rezultati: V študiji primera smo izpostavili tri negovalne probleme: kronična bolečina v križu, nesposobnost samostojnega vzdrževanja gospodinjstva in povišana telesna teža. Študija primera je pokazala, da bolečina v križu vpliva na kakovost življenja. Diskusija in zaključek: Bolečina v križu znižuje kakovost življenja pacientke in vpliva na njeno socialno življenje. Z rednim izvajanjem vaj za krepitev hrbtnih mišic in zdravim življenjskim slogom se lahko funkcioniranje pacientke izboljša.

Title:
Patient/person with lower back pain in home environment
Abstract:
Theoretical introduction: In the diploma thesis a patient with a lower back pain is presented. Lower back pain is a frequent problem. It occurs in active population and mostly in elderly people. Lower back pain can be a consequence of a too high body mass index, heavy manual labour, incorrect bending over and lifting. Home care nurse plays a crucial role in treatment of a patient with lower back pain. In the research, we wanted to find out the main nursing problems with the lower back pain patient, and how the pain affects her everyday activities. Research methodology: A descriptive work method was used. The research based on a qualitative methodology, we performed a case study and used the interview technique, which contained open-ended questions. Results: In the case study we exposed three nursing problems: chronic low back pain, inability to maintain independent housekeeping and increased body weight. The case study shows that the lower back pain affects the quality of the patient's life. Discussion and Conclusion: Lower back pain lowers the quality of the patient's life and affects her social life. With regular execution of strengthening exercises for lower back muscles and with a healthy lifestyle, the patient's activity can be improved.
