Abstract:
Magistrsko delo obsega posodobitev in avtomatizacijo sistema za kontinuirno litje zlitin na Fakulteti za strojništvo v Mariboru. Za potrebe posodobitve je bil izdelan testni sistem, sestavljen iz Omronovega PLK, razširljivih modulov in enosmernega motorja. V uvodnem delu je predstavljen potek litja, ki mu sledi opis uporabljenih komponent. Predstavljen je potek dela z opisom programiranja in preizkusom delovanja. Program za vodenje je napisan v lestvični obliki v programu CX Programmer. Za uporabniški vmesnik je bil izdelan sistem SCADA v programu CX Supervisor.

Title:
Upgrading and automatization of the system for continuous casting of alloys
Abstract:
The upgrading and automatization of the system for continuous casting of alloys, located at Faculty of Mechanical Engineering in Maribor, is presented in the master thesis. The test system was built, consisting of Omron PLC, expandable modules and DC motor. The process of casting and components used for the system are described. Also, the workflow and created software are presented, together with testing methods. The control software was built using the ladder diagrams, with the development software CX Programmer. SCADA user interface was built in CX Supervisor.
