Abstract:
POVZETEK Teoretična izhodišča, namen: V vesolju se nabira vse več vesoljskih odpadkov, za katere je krivo nepremišljeno raziskovanje vesolja. Zaradi velike količine odpadkov so se pojavile zamisli, da bi vesolje očistili. Namen diplomskega dela je bil predstaviti problematiko in vpliv odpadkov v vesolju. Raziskovalna metodologija: Uporabili smo kvalitativno metodologijo in deskriptivno metodo. Vključili smo metodo analize in metodo sinteze strokovne in znanstvene literature s področja problematike in vpliva odpadkov v vesolju. Literaturo smo iskali v slovenskem in angleškem jeziku. Uporabili smo literaturo, ki je dostopna s polnim besedilo in stara največ do deset let. Rezultati: V diplomskem delu smo dosegli vse zastavljene cilje. Opisali smo vesolje in vesoljske odpadke. Predstavili problematiko odpadkov v vesolju in opisali osnove nuklearnega pogona ter vesoljske fizike. Odgovorili smo na raziskovalna vprašanja. Ugotovili smo, da se vesoljski odpadki vrnejo na Zemljo ter so lahko v vesolju par mesecev ali več sto let. Prav tako smo ugotovili, da vesoljski odpadki negativno vplivajo na potovanja in bivanja v atmosferi. Ovrgli smo hipotezo, da ne obstaja razlika med vplivom manjših in večjih vesoljskih odpadkov na Zemljo. Diskusija in zaključek: Nepremišljeno raziskovanje je povzročilo vesoljske odpadke. V zadnjih desetletjih smo Zemljeno orbito zapolnili z vesoljskimi odpadki do skrajnosti. Začeti moramo bolj premišljeno raziskovati vesolje in zmanjšati vnos novih vesoljskih odpadkov.

The problem and the impact of waste in space
Abstract:
SUMMARY Theoretical background, purpose: The Space is gathering more and more space debris, which is caused by unthoughtful research of Space. Because of large amounts of space debris, new thoughts have arisen, about cleaning the Space. The main purpose of research diploma was to present the problems and influences of space debris. Research methods: We used qualitatively methodology and descriptive method. We have included the method of analysis and the method of synthesis of technical and scientific literature in the field of the problem and the impact of waste in the Space. We used literature in Slovenian and English language. We used literature, which is available with the full text and aged up to ten years. Results: In the research diploma we achieved all the set goals. We described the Space and space debris. We introduced the problems of space debris and described basics of nuclear propulsion and space physics. We answered on the research questions and figured out that space debris is returning back on Earth and could be in the Space for few months or several hundred years. Besides that we also came to the conclusion that space debris has a negative impact on traveling and leaving in the atmosphere. We refute the hypothesis that there is no difference between the influence of smaller and larger space debris to Earth. Discussion and conclusion: Unthoughtful space research has caused space debris. In recent decades, we have filled the Earth orbit with space debris to extreme. We must begin researching Space more carefully and reducing the release of new space debris.
