Title:RAZVOJ MODELA ZA NAČRTOVANJE CENTROV PREDELAVE LESA V SKLOPU GOZDNE-LESNE VERIGE

Abstract:V diplomski nalogi je obravnavana možnost načrtovanja Centrov predelave lesa (CPL) na območju Slovenije. Izdelali smo model, ki je definiran kot funkcija štirih dejavnikov, t.j. gozdnatost območja, obstoječa prometna infrastruktura oziroma bližina avtocest, bližina večjih mest in lokacija že obstoječih lesno predelovalnih podjetij, ki bi se bila pripravljena razviti v CPL. Zbrani so bili razpoložljivi podatki o gozdnatosti in prometni infrastrukturi. Izvedena je bila anketa z 41 vprašanji, ki je bila poslana desetim lesnopredelovalnim podjetjem. Na ta način smo pridobili podatke o podjetjih, o njihovi trenutni dejavnosti in ugotovili smernice podjetij za nadaljnji razvoj ter njihovo zainteresiranost, da bi se razvili v CPL. Na podlagi zbranih podatkov in na osnovi analize anket smo razvili model, s pomočjo katerega smo določili smiselnost ustanavljanja CPL ter možne lokacije teh centrov.

Title:DEVELOPMENT OF MODEL FOR PLANNING OF WOOD PROCESSING CENTERS WITHIN FOREST-WOOD CHAIN
Abstract:The respective thesis describes the possibility of development of the Centres for Wood Processing (CPL) in Slovenia. In order to elucidate this issue, a model, which is defined as a function of four parameters, i.e., afforestation, existing transport infrastructure i.e. distance to highways, proximity to major cities and proximity to existing wood processing companies, which have the potential to develop into the CPL. Afforestation and transport infrastructure information were obtained from available databases. Additionally, a survey with 41 questions was sent to ten wood processing companies. This enables us to analyse reliable data on companies; what is their current activity and identify the plans for further development. Special emphasis was given to their interest to transform into the CPL. Based on the data collected and the surveys performed, a model was developed. This model enables us to identify possible locations of CPL and to evaluate the feasibility of the establishment of the respective centres.
