Abstract:
Namen tega diplomskega projekta je nuditi pregled možnih načinov bivanja v prihodnosti ob upoštevanju podnebnih sprememb, onesnaževanja, hrupa itd. Če razmislimo o širokem naboru arhitekturnih priložnosti, bi lahko bil najboljša rešitev za lokacije z neugodnimi mikroklimatskimi razmerami- v tem primeru Celje- koncept kupole nad mestom. To idejo moramo še razviti in le res nujna potreba po tovrstni tehnologiji bi spodbudila nadaljnji razvoj konceptov. Najverjetneje bo vodila do razvoja novih tipologij in konceptov bivanja, ki so nujni za človeštvo.

FUTURE CONCEPT OF LIVING: LIVING UNDER THE DOME
Abstract:
The intention of this master thesis project is to provide an overview of the potential future living concepts, taking into consideration climate change, pollution, noise etc. Considering the broad range of architectural opportunities, the best solution for harsh microclimatic locations- in this case Celje- could be the concept of a ''dome'' over the city. Indeed, this idea still remains to be developed, and only an outmost need would drive those concepts further to evolve. It is probable they will lead to the development of new typologies and new concepts of living, which more or less seem to be imperative for mankind.
