Abstract:
V Sloveniji ima program javnih del v okviru aktivne politike zaposlovanja že kar dolgo tradicijo, saj poteka od leta 1990. Javna dela omogočajo zaposlitev, socialno varnost, nova znanja, delovne izkušnje, vključenost v delovno okolje in širjenje socialne mreže. Javna dela prispevajo k dvigu kakovosti življenja in k razvoju novih delovnih mest. V teoretičnem delu predstavljamo pojav in probleme brezposelnosti ter posebej program javnih del kot ukrep, s katerim država posega na trg dela. V empiričnem oziroma raziskovalnem delu pa podrobno analiziramo javna dela v Savinjski in Pomurski regiji, in sicer za obdobje od leta 2007 do 2013. Preizkusili smo veljavnost dveh hipotez in obrazložili rezultate. Diplomsko delo zaključujemo z nekaj predlogi za izboljšanje stanja na tem področju.

Title:
Analysis of public works in Savinja and Pomurje region
Abstract:
In Slovenia, the program of public works in the context of active employment policy has a long tradition – the program exists from 1990. Public work gives an opportunity for employment, social security, new skills, work experience, participation in the working environment as well as social networking. It also improves the overall quality of life and contributes to development of new jobs. In the theoretical section we present the phenomenon and the problems of unemployment and especially public works programs as a measure by which the state intervenes in the labour market. In the empirical part we analyse in detail in the public works in the regions of Savinja and Pomurje in the period from 2007 to 2013. We tested the validity of two hypotheses and explained the results. The thesis is concluded with some suggestions for improvement in this area.
