Title:Numerična analiza mešanja z radialno - aksialnim ABT mešalom pri razprševanju plina v kapljevino

Abstract:V diplomskem delu je predstavljen numerični izračun razprševanja plina v kapljevini z ABT mešalom. Predstavljeno je teoretično ozadje mešanja ter numeričnega računanja. Izvedene so bile numerične analize za različne procesne primere glede na različne vrtilne hitrosti in pretoke plina. Predstavljena je kvalitativna primerjava numeričnih rezultatov tokovnih razmer in porazdelitev posameznih faz za različne procesne primere mešanja. Kvantitativna primerjava rezultatov navora kaže na zelo dobro ujemanje z eksperimentalnimi vrednostnimi v vseh primerih različnih procesnih primerov mešanja. Glede na rezultate izvedenih simulacij, lahko zaključimo, da uporaba računalnike dinamike tekočin v praksi, predstavlja učinkovito orodje za napovedovanje tokovnih razmer dvofaznih sistemov v mešalnih posodah.

Title:Numerical analysis of mixing with radial - axial ABT stirrer for gas - liquid dispersion
Abstract:In the diploma thesis a numerical analysis of mixing with an ABT stirrer for gas-liquid dispersion is presented. The thesis contains a theoretical background on mixing and dispersion of gas-liquid two-phase flows and numerical background for two-phase flows simulations. Numerical simulations accounting for different process cases regarding different stirrer speed and gas flow rates. Results of numerical simulation, as flow patterns, volume fractions are qualitative compared between different process cases in the mixing vessel. In addition, also quantitative comparison for torque values for different process cases is given. Numerical results comparison with experimental data shows very good agreement. Based on results comparison the concluding could be that numerical tools can very good predict two-phase flow behavior in mixing vessel and therefor efficient used in praxis.
