Abstract:
Namen diplomske naloge je umeriti model sublimacijskega sušenja tako, da se bodo dobljeni rezultati čim bolj ujemali z eksperimentalnimi rezultati. Za izdelavo naloge smo izvedli več simulacij, ki ponazarjajo potek realnega sušenja. Umerjanje smo izvedli na podlagi dobljenih rezultatov. Vsaka sprememba parametra vpliva na rezultat, vendar se vplivi parametrov med seboj nekoliko razlikujejo. Ugotovili smo, da na potek simulacije najbolj vpliva parameter robni pogoj. Ob spremembi sevalnega robnega pogoja so odstopanja največja. Vsem konstantam v robnih pogojih smo določili nove vrednosti, kar je pripomoglo k večjemu ujemanju z eksperimentalnim potekom sublimacijskega sušenja.

Title:
Calibration of a freeze drying model
Abstract:
The aim of this thesis was to calibrate a freeze drying model so that the obtained results as far as possible coincide with the experimental results. In the process of writing the thesis we performed multiple simulations that illustrated the course of the real drying. Afterwards, the calibration was performed on the basis of the obtained results. We learned that any modification of the parameters affected the outcome, but the end effects of changing each of them were not the same. In the course of the simulation we found out, that the results were mostly affected by the boundary condition. The most deviating results presented themselves by changing radiation boundary condition. With the calibration we set new values to all constants and doing so has improved matching to the experimental course of the sublimation drying process.
