Abstract:
Diplomsko delo sestavljata teoretični del in koncertni nastop. Teoretični del je razdeljen na tri poglavja. Prvo zajema življenjsko pot Karola Pahorja – njegovo otroštvo, šolanje in službovanje. V drugem poglavju je opisano njegovo delovanje na pedagoškem in zborovodskem področju ter skladateljsko ustvarjanje. Tretje poglavje zajema oblikovne, ritmične, melodične in harmonske analize Pahorjevih skladb: Istrijanka, Slovenska suita in Pesem brez besed, ki sodijo med njegova najpomembnejša klavirska dela. Koncertni nastop: Karol Pahor: Istrijanka, 15 miniatur za klavir v duhu istrske narodne melodike Karol Pahor: Slovenska suita za klavir Karol Pahor: Pesem brez besed

PIANO COMPOSITIONS BY KAROL PAHOR
Abstract:
The thesis consists of a theoretical part and a concert performance. The theoretical part is divided into three chapters. The first chapter traces the life of Karol Pahor, i.e. his childhood, education and professional career. The second chapter touches on his activity in education, choral conducting and musical composition. As for the third chapter, it contains analyses of the formal structure, rhythm, melody and harmony of some of his most important piano pieces: Istrijanka (Istrian girl), Slovenska suita (Slovene suite) and Pesem brez besed (A song without words).
