Title:Preventivne akcije za ranljive udeležence v cestnem prometu - primer delovanja v občini Krško

Abstract:Varnost v cestnem prometu je pomemben dejavnik, ki prispeva h kakovostnemu bivalnemu okolju vseh prebivalcev. Diplomsko delo se osredotoča na varnost ranljivejših skupin udeležencev cestnega prometa, kar je tudi prikazano s statistiko prometnih nesreč na državni ravni v primerjavi s članicami EU. V nadaljevanju opisujemo pretekle preventivne aktivnosti, ki so bile izvedene v Sloveniji, in ugotavljamo, kako aktiven je na tem področju Svet za preventivo in vzgojo v cestnem prometu občine Krško. Prikazana je statistika prometnih nesreč v občini Krško, kjer ugotavljamo, da so pešci med najbolj ranljivimi udeleženci v cestnem prometu. V zadnjem delu so predstavljene preventivne aktivnosti in dogodki, pri katerih sem tudi sama sodelovala. Diplomsko delo se zaključi s predstavitvijo nekaterih dosedanjih ukrepov ter našimi predlogi za izboljšanje varnosti ranljivejših udeležencev cestnega prometa v občini Krško. Podane so ugotovitve, ki so nastale na podlagi opravljenih analiz ter raziskovanja.

Title:Prevention measures for vulnerable road users - case study for Krško municipality
Abstract:Road safety is an important aspect of high-quality living environment as it involves all residents. This diploma dissertation focuses on the safety of the most vulnerable groups of road users, displayed in terms of traffic accident statistics on the national level and compared to other EU member states. In the following chapters we describe past and existing preventive measures, which have been implemented in Slovenia, and analyze the activities of Road Safety Council in Krško. Number of traffic accidents in Krško municipality is graphically displayed, showing us that pedestrians are the most vulnerable group of road users. The last part of dissertation focuses on preventive measures and events, in which I have taken part myself. The conclusion of this dissertation contains a presentation of existing measures and some ideas for improving the safety of the most vulnerable groups of road users in Krško in the future. We also specify the findings resulting from our analyses and research.
