Abstract:
Razprava prinaša predstavitev severnoštajerskega selniškega govora na fonološki in morfološki ravni, skice že opuščenih žag in mlinov v Bistriškem jarku s še živim strokovnim izrazjem in skico oglenice, kakršne še danes kadijo ob potokih. Pripoved o tehnologiji dela na žagi, v mlinu ter pri pripravi oglenice je zapisana v selniškem govoru.

Title:
The Description of a Sawmill, a Mill and a Charchoal Pile in the Selnica Dialect
Abstract:
In the study the author describes the Selnica dialect from northern Styria at the phonological and morphological level, with drawings of abandoned sawmills, mills and a water wheel in Bistriški Jarek, including technical terms which are still in use today, and a drawing of a charcoal pile of the kind which are still smoking today by streams. The sawmill and mill technology as well as the making of a charcoal pile are described in the Selnica dialect.
