Abstract:V diplomskem delu z naslovom Razvoj ravnotežja v otroštvu smo želeli s pomočjo pedagoškega eksperimenta ugotoviti kako vpliva načrtovana vadbena dejavnost na razvoj ravnotežja otrok starih 3-6 let.

Title:THE DEVELOPMENT OF BALANCE IN THE CHILDHOOD
Abstract:In the diploma thesis entitled The development of balance in childhood we intended to find out how planned physical activity influences the development of balance in children in the age group of 3 to 6 year olds. We have used a pedagogic experiment to do so. The diploma thesis consists of a theoretical and an empirical part. In the theoretical part we have presented a child's development, the factors that influence a child's development, motor skills and we have defined the balance skill in detail. In the empirical part we have presented the pedagogic experiment as well as the findings of the research. In the pedagogic experiment we have used seven tests to measure the children's motor skills. We have performed an initial and a final testing of both the control and the experimental group. The pedagogic experiment occured between March and May of the year 2015. In the experimental group we have realized twenty planned physical activities during this time. Based on the results we have applied a descriptive statistics and a bivariate analysis and found out that differences in the test results between the experimental and the control group exist in the initial as well as in the final testing. We have also found out that planned physical activities influence the development of balance in children.
