Abstract:
V magistrskem delu je opisana izvedba in rezultati numeričnih analiz modela prenosnika toplote s cevnim snopom in plaščem z uporabo programskih paketov SolidWorks ter Ansys CFX. Z namenom preučitve razlik pri delu in rezultatih med programskima paketoma smo izvedli več tridimenzionalnih simulacij globalnih parametrov toplotnega prenosnika za različna Reynoldsova števila. Ugotovimo lahko, da med programskima paketoma obstajajo bistvene razlike pri modeliranju numeričnih mrež, nastavitev robnih pogojev in navsezadnje času računanja. Ugotovili smo, da numerično pridobljeni rezultati uporabljenih programskih paketov, kažejo dobro ujemanje z eksperimentalnimi meritvami iz literature.

NUMERICAL ANALYSIS OF SHELL-AND-TUBE HEAT EXCHANGER
Abstract:
This thesis describes the process and results of numerical analysis for a shell-and-tube heat exchanger model with software packages SolidWorks and Ansys CFX. The main goal was to compare the performance and results of different software packages. We create multiple three dimensional numerical simulations to predict global parameters of a heat exchanger for different Reynolds numbers. It was found that there are essential differences in the use of software packages in mesh modeling, boundary conditions settings and computation time. Furthermore, the numerical results are in good agreement with experimental measurements from literature.
