Abstract:
Na področju orodjarstva so velike potrebe po natančnih in kakovostnih izdelkih, ki jih želimo izdelati v najkrajšem možnem času z najmanj stroški. Da lahko to dosežemo, potrebujemo obdelovalne stroje, ki so namenjeni za obdelave, ki jih potrebujemo. V diplomskem delu bom predstavil problematiko pri izbiri rezkalnega obdelovalnega stroja in prikazal, na katere vplivne karakteristike strojev moramo biti pozorni pri izbiri rezkalnega obdelovalnega centra na primeru primerjave treh podobnih obdelovalnih centrov. Pri izdelavi diplomskega dela bom uporabil metodo s študijem domače in tuje literature. Za zbiranje podatkov bom uporabil tudi pomoč svojega mentorja.

CNC milling machines and milling in tool making
Abstract:
In the area of tool making process, there are high demands for precise and high quality products, which should be manufactured both in shortest time and with lowest expenses possible. To meet such demands, machines which are constructed to serve a particular purpose are required. This diploma thesis presents the problems that occur when selecting new milling machines for production, and demonstrates comparison of important technical specifications of three selected machines with similar characteristics. In the making of diploma, the method of studying home and foreign literature was applied. For gathering data, my mentor provided assistance.
