Predstavljene so naslednje metode: igra, delo z lutko, metoda opazovanja, metoda eksperimenta, metoda razgovora (pogovora), metoda pripovedovanja (razlaganja), metoda praktičnega dela in projektno delo. V empiričnem delu so predstavljeni rezultati raziskave o uporabi in vplivu metod dela na motivacijo predšolskih otrok. Anketirali smo 165 vzgojiteljev iz vrtcev v okolici Celja, Ljubljane, Kopra in Maribora. Podatke smo zbrali z anketnim vprašalnikom, ter jih analizirali s pomočjo programa SPSS ter predstavili v tabelah. S pomočjo Kruskal-Wallisovega preizkusa razlik smo ugotavljali statistično značilne razlike uporabe metod dela na različnih področjih dejavnosti.

Title:The Influence of Working Methods on Motivation of Pre-School Children
Abstract:Whenever we talk about motivation of preschool children, we wonder and try to establish what is the factor that attracts and stimulates a child to do a certain activity, guides him/her during the process, determines the intensity of participation and furthermore, allows him/her to persist with the activity. This thesis tries to bring motivation closer to the kindergarten teachers and show how it is affected by working methods. The thesis consists of a theoretical and empirical part. The first segment of the theoretical part introduces and defines motivation. Teachers often doubt whether manipulation is connected to motivation, and how to motivate preschool children in general. Therefore, the difference between manipulation and motivation is presented, along with different types of motivation and motives for it. Moreover, some guidelines for motivation are introduced. The second theoretical part presents, in detail, methods that kindergarten teachers use at their educational work such as: games, use of a puppet, method of observation, method of experiment, method of conversation, method of explanation, method of practical work and project work. The empirical part presents the results of a research on the use and influence of working methods on the motivation of preschool children. 165 teachers from the kindergartens in the areas around Celje, Ljubljana, Koper and Maribor were included in the survey. The data was acquired by questionnaires, analysed by SPSS Statistics and presented in tables. Through the Kruskal–Wallis analysis of variance statistically typical differences in the use of methods in fields of activities were examined.
