Abstract:
V nekaj manj kot dvajsetih letih so krožna križišča v Sloveniji postala zelo priljubljena, zadnjih nekaj let pa zanje velja, lahko bi rekli, že kar evforija. Trenutno imamo v Sloveniji eno krožno križišče na vsakih 68 km državnih cest, pričakovan pa je še nadaljnji porast njihovega števila. Glede na to, da so se v zadnjem času pričele pojavljati tudi posamezne neupravičene zahteve za izvedbo krožnih križišč in zahteve za izvedbo krožnih križišč na krajih, kjer njihova izvedba ni smiselna, se je pokazala potreba po umirjanju položaja. V prispevku je prikazana metodologija za ugotavljanje upravičenosti izvedbe krožnega križišča v urbanem okolju in v realnih okoliščinah, v katerih naj bi to stalo.

Abstract:
In slightly less than twenty years roundabouts have become very popular in Slovenia. Lately, we can add, their acceptance is almost euphoric. Presently we have one roundabout on every 68 km of national roads, while their increasing quantity can be expected. In view of the fact that lately there have also been many unacceptable independent demands for their construction, in places where they would be unsuitable, the need for calming such desire is necessary. The article deals with the methodology for establishing acceptability for construction of roundabouts in urban environments and in their real physical circumstances.
