Abstract:V magistrskem delu je obravnavana prometno varnostna analiza območij omejene hitrosti na izbranih lokacijah znotraj naselij. V Sloveniji je uvedba območij omejene hitrosti prepoznana kot eden izmed osnovnih primerov / načinov za umirjanje prometa, ki se pogosto uporablja v bližini vzgojno-izobraževalnih ustanov (vrtci, osnovne šole ipd.). Namen magistrskega dela je bila podrobnejša prometno-varnostna analiza območij omejene hitrosti (cona 30). Predstavljene so naprave in ukrepi za umirjanje prometa, ki so sestavni del omenjenih con izbrani so bili odseki primerni za analizo, opravljena njihova podrobna analiza (prometne značilnosti, prometne nesreče, skrite meritve hitrosti, opazovanje prometnega dogajanja, izvedba anket ipd.). Cilj magistrskega dela je ugotoviti, vpliv (pozitiven, negativen) obravnavanih območij na potek prometa, število prometnih nesreč, hitrosti motornih vozil, "privlačnost" in na osnovi pridobljenih podatkov (analiza obstoječega stanja) napraviti oziroma predstaviti ustrezne zaključke.

Title:TRAFFIC SAFETY ANALYSIS OF 30 KM /H ZONES
Abstract:This master’s degree thesis deals with traffic safety analysis in restricted speed areas at selected locations within the city. In Slovenia, the introduction of restricted speed zones is recognized as one of the basic examples/methods for traffic-calming, which is widely used in the vicinity of educational institutions (kindergartens, elementary school, etc.) The purpose of the master’s degree thesis was a detailed road-safety analysis of limited speed zone areas (zone 30). The master’s thesis presents systems and measures for traffic-calming, which are an integral part of these selected zones, segments were chosen which are eligible for analysis, their detailed analysis was done (traffic characteristics, traffic accidents, hidden speed measurements, observation of traffic events, implementation of surveys, etc.). The objective of the master’s degree thesis is to determine the impact (positive, negative) of the areas on the traffic flow, number of traffic accidents, the speed of motor vehicles, "attractiveness" and based on the acquired data (analysis of the existing situation) make or present appropriate conclusions.
