Abstract:
Namen magistrskega dela je seznanitev z različnimi metodami dimenzioniranja nesemaforiziranih križišč, preučevanje vplivnih dejavnikov pri posameznih metodah in ugotavljanje primernosti uporabe teh metod v realnem okolju. Seznanili smo se z dimenzioniranjem križišča s prednostno cesto po dveh metodah, in sicer po metodi HCM 2010 in metodi HBS 2001. Uporabili smo ju na konkretnem primeru križišča v Dravogradu. Izdelali smo navodila za uporabnost metod dimenzioniranja križišča s prednostno cesto in s pomočjo le-teh izdelali predlog najustreznejše rešitve oblike konkretnega križišča v Dravogradu, ki je lahko primer dobre rešitve križišča z omejeno lokacijo tudi v slovenskem prometnem okolju. Metodi HCM 2010 in HBS 2001 sta podrobno predstavljeni v ustrezni znanstveni literaturi. Na osnovi ugotovitev analize smo izdelali smernice za uporabnost teh metod v slovenskem prometnem okolju. Metodi dimenzioniranja sta preizkušeni na osnovi dejanskih cestnih in prometnih podatkov, ki smo jih pridobili iz javnih podatkovnih baz in na osnovi lastnih meritev (štetje prometa). Za analize smo uporabili ustrezna programska orodja, ki takšne analize omogočajo (SIDRA INTERSECTION). Z magistrsko nalogo se je ugotovilo, da je najprimernejša rešitev ureditve križišča v Dravogradu krožno križišče z dodanim pasom, vendar zaradi omejenega prostora priporočamo krožno križišče brez dodanega pasu, ki je tudi primerna rešitev.

USABILITY OF METHODS FOR DIMENSIONING WITHOUT TRAFFIC LIGHTS INSTALATION AT INTERSECTIONS IN REAL ENVIRONMENT
Abstract:
The purpose of this Master Thesis is to get acquainted with different methods of dimensioning the Two-way STOP controlled intersections (TWSC), investigating important factors of each method, and determine their appropriate use in real time environment. We got acquainted with dimensioning a TWSC intersection with two methods called HBS 2001 and HCM 2010. We applied them on a live example, an intersection in Dravograd. We created instructions for the usage of TWSC intersection and with its help proposed the most appropriate solution, which can be used in all such intersections in Slovenian traffic environment. Methods HBS 2001 and HCM 2010 are thoroughly explained in scientific literature. Instructions for their usage in Slovenian traffic environment will be presented based on the findings of the analysis. Both dimensioning methods are tested on real road and traffic data, which were obtained from public data base, and combined with our own measurements (counting traffic). We used the appropriate program tools for analyses, like SIDRA INTERSECTION. With this Master Thesis it was determined that the most appropriate solution for the given intersection in Dravograd is roundabout with additional lane. But because of space limitation it is recommended to use a roundabout without additional lane, which is also a good solution.
