Abstract:
Vse večje zahteve po zniževanju stroškov in večji učinkovitosti peljejo in vodijo s svetlobno hitrostjo tako poslovne kot zasebne uporabnike v računalništvo v oblaku. V delu diplomskega seminarja je podrobneje obravnavano kaj sploh računalništvo v oblaku je, opredeljene so njegove osnovne značilnosti in kratka predstavitev njegove zgodovine. Za boljše razumevanje so razložene plasti in vrste računalništva v oblaku. V nadaljevanju so seveda navedene tudi prednosti in slabosti računalništva v oblaku ter priložnosti in grožnje, ki pretijo na obravnavano temo. Kot zanimivost so podani podatki uporabe računalništva v oblaku v zasebnih podjetjih in uporabo v zasebne namene. Poudarek diplomskega seminarja pa je seveda bil na predstavitvi in opredelitvi zavarovanja in varovanja osebnih podatkov ter razložitev koncepta iznos osebnih podatkov v tretje države. Namreč izrednega pomena je zaupanje podatkov v oblak in prav zaupanje je temelj - vanj morajo zaupati naročniki, zaupanja si želijo ponudniki in ne nazadnje tudi nadzorni organi. Čeprav pri zaupanju gre predvsem pri uporabnikih, saj se razvijalci in izvajalci storitev zavedajo morebitnih nelegalnih groženj poseganja v podatke v oblaku ter se izredno trudijo za zagotavljanje potrebne varnosti.

CLOUD COMPUTING AND DATA PROTECTION
Abstract:
The demand to lower the overall costs and to achieve a higher efficiency are the fundamental reasons that more private and business users turn to cloud computing. The theoretical part of the diploma seminar focuses on the definition of the term cloud computing as well as its basic characteristics and some historical facts. For a better understanding of cloud computing we explained the layers and types of cloud computing, and analyzed its advantages and disadvantages, where we focused on the opportunities and dangers that arise from this field. We also mentioned some interesting information about the usage of cloud computing in private environments and in private businesses. The main focus of our diploma seminar was on the introduction and definition of secure and protected personal information and to explain the concept of transferring personal information to another country. Trust is of grave importance in cloud computing, on one hand, the consumers of the cloud service have to trust the providers, and on the other hand, the providers and the supervisory body want to gain and retain the trust of the consumers. Developers and providers of cloud services are aware of the illegal acquisition of personal information and are doing everything in their power to prevent this, which results in the trust of the consumers.
