Abstract:
Dandanes si ne predstavljamo več vsakdanjika brez pametne mobilne naprave, predvsem telefona. Nekaj časa je bila to samo ena od kategorij telefonov, sedaj pa je prevladujoča oz. sploh ne govorimo več o kategoriji, ampak o napravi, za katero se v splošnem že predvideva in pričakuje, da je pametna. Seveda je zaradi tako številčne uporabe in vedno večje zmogljivosti strojne opreme ter zaradi novih platform zahteva po mobilnih aplikacijah velika. Skozi razvoj novih platform se spremni tudi način razvoja aplikacij. Ta razvoj bomo opisali v diplomski nalogi, podali malo zgodovine in ga osvetlili z vidika razvijalca. Razvili bomo aplikacijo, s katero bomo ugotovili razlike v razvoju na platformi Windows Phone družine različice 8 v primerjavi z različico 7. Za aplikacijo smo si izbrali preprost program za upravljanje s kamero, ki bo imel funkcije, ki jih omogoča trenutno uporabljena platforma, v kateri bomo aplikacijo razvijali. Sproti bomo vse ugotovitve tudi zapisali.

COMPARISON OF APPLICATION DEVELOPMENT ON WINDOWS PHONE 7 AND WONDOWS PHONE 8
Abstract:
Today we can’t imagine life without a smart phone. For some time, it was only one of several categories of mobile phones, but today it is the main one. Today we talk about the device for which it is generally expected to be smart. Of course, due to the numerous uses in increasing hardware capabilities and new platforms there is a huge need for new applications. Through the development of new platforms themselves, there is also need for new improved application development. This development will be described in this paper. First we will write Windows Phone history, then some perspective from the developer’s view. We will develop an application in which we will search development differences between Windows Phone platforms of family 8 and previous 7. For this application, we have chosen a simple programme to manage camera, which will have functions provided by the currently used platform in which we will develop the application. We will write down all findings.
