Abstract:
V diplomski nalogi je obravnavana posodobitev krmilja na lesnem skobeljnem stroju, pri čemer je bil glavni cilj olajšati delo na stroju. V ta namen je bilo potrebno na stroj dograditi ustrezne senzorje, ki bodo omogočali avtomatsko uravnavanje delovne mize. Hidravlični cilindri so na stroju že bili nameščeni, vendar niso bili v uporabi. Dodatno k temu so dograjeni tudi varnostni elementi, ki bodo zagotavljali varno delo navkljub težkim obratovalnim razmeram, kontrolni panel pa bo uporabniku nudil vpogled v vse potrebne informacije in ustrezno signalizacijo. Celoten sistem je voden preko programirljivega krmilnika Arduino.

Title:
Modernisation of control system on wood thickness planer
Abstract:
The diploma work presents upgrade of wood thickness planer feeder and its control unit. The main goal is to make work easier for the operator. For the modernisation of the feeder unit, appropriate sensors, which will allow auto-leveling of work table, need to be installed. Although hydraulic cylinders were already installed on the machine, they were never used. Furthermore, also the safety functions of the machine were upgraded, which will allow safe operation despite harsh working environment. The whole system is based on an Arduino programmable controller, whereas all information will be displayed on a control panel.
