Abstract:In this thesis the organizational model of controlling overloaded duty vehicles in Slovenia was analysed. It describes how and to which extent police officers perform the control for which it has been ascertained it is inefficient and is not performed to sufficient extent. The organizational model of weighing duty vehicles in motion by using the SiWIM system (technique of weighing duty vehicles in motion) was analysed. Many positive effects have been ascertained in the case the system was used in cooperation with the police.
