Abstract:
Motnja avtističnega spektra je biološko utemeljena, pervazivna razvojna motnja v različno težkih oblikah. Prisotno je nenormalno ali moteno vedenje, ki se kaže pred tretjim letom starosti. Težave so značilne na socialnem področju, v interakciji, komunikaciji, pojavlja se utesnjeno, stereotipno, ponavljajoče se vedenje. Prisotne so lahko tudi druge nespecifične težave. Motnja avtističnega spektra ni ozdravljiva, lahko pa se blažijo njeni simptomi z raznimi edukacijami, modifikacijskimi vedenji, logopedijo, terapijo z zdravili in tudi s terapijo z živalmi. Potreben je multidisciplinaren pristop. Namen diplomskega dela je opisati značilnosti in simptome avtizma, diagnostične postopke in možnosti obravnave ter zdravljenja. Ena izmed možnih oblik obravnave je terapija s pomočjo konja, ki je tudi podrobneje predstavljena. V diplomskem delu je uporabljena deskriptivna metoda dela s pregledom, kritično obdelavo ter interpretacijo tuje in domače literature. Odgovori na raziskovalna vprašanja so podani na podlagi analize in primerjave znanstvenih spoznanj na področju terapija s pomočjo konja pri avtizmu. Številne raziskave dokazujejo, da terapija s pomočjo konja pri avtizmu izboljšuje komunikacijo, socialno interakcijo, koncentracijo in kognitivne spremembe.

Equus therapy in the autism spectrum disorders
Abstract:
Autism spectrum disorders is a biological well founded, pervasive developmental disorder, in different forms of difficult. There is a abnormal or disturbed behavior, which is reflected before the third year. The problems are characteristic in the social field, in interaction, communications, cramped in, stereotypically, repetitive behavior. May also be present second unspecific problems. We need to know that autism spectrum disorder is not a treatable, but it can mitigate symptoms with various education, modifying behaviors, speech therapy, drug therapy, therapy with animals. What is needed is a multidisciplinary approach. The purpose of the thesis is to describe the characteristics of autism symptoms, diagnostic procedures and treatment. One option for treatment is a therapy with the help of horse which is presented in details the. In the thesis is selected descriptive method works with scrutiny, critical processing and interpretation foreign and domestic literature. The answers to research questions is shown based analysis and comparison of scientific knowledge in the field of equine assisted therapy for autism. Numerous studies have shown that therapy with the help of a horse with autism improves communication, social interaction, concentration and cognitive changes.
