Abstract:
Družina nekoč se po vlogah razlikuje od družine danes. Pojavile so se spremembe, ki jih pogojujejo družbene razmere. S tem pa so se spremenila tudi pričakovanja staršev do vzgojiteljev. Diplomsko delo sestavlja ta teoretični in empirični del. V prvem delu je predstavljena družini nekoč in danes. Podrobneje so predstavljeni: vloga družine, vplivi družine, vloga otroka v družini, spremembe in vzgoja v družini. Nato je predstavljen vrtec kot institucija nekoč in danes. V nadaljevanju je v teoretičnem delu predstavljeno še sodelovanje s starši in pričakovanja staršev do vzgojiteljev ter vidik kakovosti vrtca. Empirični del je posvečen raziskavi, kjer so rezultati in analiza raziskave o pričakovanjih staršev do vzgojiteljev in kako se pričakovanja odražajo pri delu vzgojiteljev. Vzorec zajema starše, ki imajo svoje otroke vključene v vrtce na Štajerskem. Podatke, ki smo jih zbrali z anketnim vprašalnikom, smo obdelali s pomočjo programa SPSS. Pri tem so nas zanimale razlike glede na starost otroka, kraj bivanja in stopnjo izobrazbe starša. Ugotovili smo, da obstajajo statistično značilne razlike v pričakovanju staršev do vzgojiteljev glede na starost otroka, ne pa na kraj bivanja in stopnjo izobrazbe. To ocenjujemo kot izredno pozitivno, saj so pričakovanja odvisna od starosti otroka in ne glede od kraja bivanja in stopnje izobrazbe staršev.

PARENTAL EXPECTATIONS OF KINDERGARTEN TEACHERS
Abstract:
The family's role in the past differs from its role in the present. Changes, determined by social conditions, have emerged, and herewith parental expectations towards kindergarten teachers have changed. This diploma work consists of a theoretical and an empirical part. The first part presents the family in the past and the family today. It presents in detail the family's role and influence, the child's role in a family, and the changes and upbringing in families. It also presents the kindergarten as an institution in the past and today. Further on, the theoretical part presents the cooperation with parents, parental expectations of kindergarten teachers, and the aspect of the kindergarten quality. The empirical part deals with the research of parental expectations of kindergarten teachers, and how they influence their work. The sample includes those parents whose children attend kindergartens in the region Štajerska. The information gathered by questionnaires was processed with the SPSS software. We were looking for differences according to the child's age, place where they live, and parents' education degree. The results have shown statistically typical differences related to the child's age, but not to the place or the parents' education. We have evaluated these results as highly positive, because the expectations actually depend on the child's age and not on the place where they live or the parents' education.
