Title:Numerična analiza mešanja sipkega materiala

Abstract:Magistrsko delo predstavlja pristop in izvedbo numerične simulacije sipkega materiala med procesom mešanja. Poudarek je na uporabi primernih robnih pogojev, nastavitvah in predpostavkah, ki so za izvedbo numeričnih simulacij potrebne. S pomočjo metode diskretnih elementov so določeni simulacijski parametri za granulirani zeolit s premerom delcev od 2 do 4 mm. Izvedena je numerična simulacija razmer, pri mešanju delcev granuliranega zeolita s sidrnim mešalom pri različnem številu vrtljajev. Izračuni so izvedeni pri 50, 100, 150 in 200 vrtljajih na minuto. Vrednosti navora dobljene z numerično simulacijo so primerjane z znanimi eksperimentalnimi vrednostmi. Primerjava je pokazala dobro ujemanje, kar pomeni, da so simulacijski parametri, določeni s kalibracijo ustrezni in veljajo za granulirani zeolit.

Title:Numerical analysis of granular material mixing
Abstract:Master's Thesis presents an approach and implementation of the numerical simulation of granular material during the mixing process. The emphasis is on the use of appropriate boundary conditions, settings and assumptions, which carry out necessary numerical simulations. With the help of discrete elements method, the simulation parameters are set for the granular zeolite with a particle diameter of 2 to 4 mm. The numerical simulation of the conditions is carried out with the mixing of granular zeolite particles with an anchor stirrer at a various number of revolutions. The calculations are carried out at 50, 100, 150 and 200 revolutions per minute. The torque values obtained by numerical simulation are compared with known experimental values. The comparison has showed a good match, which means, that the simulation parameters, determined by calibration, are relevant and applicable for granular zeolite.
