Title:EVENT MARKETING
Abstract:Events are something we all like to attend, should they be sport related, cultural or educational. The difficult side of the event is its planning, which must be carried out in a specific order, so that we do not forget any important part. Throughout my diploma project, I want to present all important parts (from planning to execution) that have a large impact on the success of the event. The biggest mistake the event planners make is forgetting about the activities after the event, which are described in the second chapter. My diploma project consists of 4 parts, which are divided into subchapters. The first part is an introduction, which presents problems of this project, its aims, intentions, assumptions and limitations, and the methods of work. In the second part of the diploma project, I define the term event and its meaning, and describe components, to which the event planners must pay attention. The third and most important part of this diploma project is about the marketing of an event and all marketing activities associated with it. The final part presents a practical example of a tennis event that I organized myself. In this chapter, I describe how I started planning and organizing the event, how I searched for sponsors, which promotional channels I have chosen, the execution of the event and the activities carried out after it.
