Abstract:
V diplomski nalogi je predstavljena ideja izgradnje mikro hidroelektrarne na odcepu potoka Sapočnica, katere cilj je bil izvesti hidrološko in geološko meritev na terenu in na osnovi izmerjenih parametrov in statističnih podatkov izbrati energetsko najbolj učinkovito vrsto vodne turbine. V okviru diplomske naloge je bil na podlagi izmerjenega pretoka in višinske razlike med zajetjem in vtokom izbran Bankijev tip rotorja vodne turbine, za katero smo podali osnovne dimenzije in izračunali moč na gredi. Določili smo tudi tip generatorja in izračunali predvideno letno proizvodnja električne energije. Podana je tudi ocena ekonomičnosti celotnega idejnega projekta. Rezultati kažejo, da se za obravnavan primer investicija povrne v 13,7 letih. Kljub dolgi dobi vračanja je izvedba smiselna, saj prispeva k samooskrbi našega gospodinjstva in k izpolnjevanju evropskih smernic glede proizvodnje električne energije iz obnovljivih virov.

Title:
The choice and calculation of a micro hydroelectric power station on Sapočnica stream
Abstract:
The thesis presents an idea of constructing a micro hydroelectric power station on the Sapočnica stream. The aim was to carry out hydrological and geological measurments in the field and, on the basis of measured parameters and statistical data, choose the most energy efficient type of water turbine. According to the measured flow and height difference between the reservoir and inlet, we chose the Banki water turbine rotor, for which we determined basic dimensions and calculated the shaft power. We also determined the generator type and calculated estimated annual electricity production. Furthermore, we included the economic evaluation of the entire preliminary design and the results indicate that the return on investment is 13.7 years. Even though the return period is long, the implementation of the project is reasonable as it contributes to the self-sufficency of our household and to the fulfillment of European guidlines regarding the production of electricity from renewable resources.
