Abstract:V diplomskem delu se ukvarjamo s proučevanjem delovanja platforme Citrix XenApp, ki nudi nov način uporabe aplikacij. Pri tem uporabnik uporablja aplikacije, ki ne tečejo na njegovi napravi, ampak na neznanem strežniku znotraj strežniške infrastrukture. Najprej se lotimo proučevanja zahtev omenjene platforme in njene vzpostavitve. Kasneje s proučenimi podatki vzpostavimo platformo Citrix XenApp in namestimo testno virtualno aplikacijo. Prav tako prikažemo možnosti orodij za upravljanje z uporabniki. Na osnovi proučitve platforme Citrix XenApp se lotimo izdelave lastne aplikacije za avtomatsko izdelavo testnih uporabniški računov in integracije v obstoječ sistem. Testiranje izdelane aplikacije je pokazalo, da lahko olajša delo administratorju, predvsem pa temu omogoča boljšo preglednost nad testnimi uporabniškimi računi.

Title:Installing the virtual environment Citrix XenApp and automating the test account creation
Abstract:In the thesis we discuss the functioning of the Citrix XenApp platform, which provides a new way of application usage. In this case the user uses applications, which do not run on his device, but on an unknown server within the server infrastructure. First, we analyze the requirements of the stated platform and its installation. Based on the provided data we then install the Citrix XenApp platform and a testing virtual application. We also show the possibilities for user management. Based on the analysis of the Citrix XenApp platform we begin to develop our own application for automatic test account creation and integrate it into the existing system. Testing of the created application showed that it simplifies the work of the administrator and particularly provides him with better view over the test user accounts.
