Abstract:
V zadnjih desetletjih smo v šolstvu priča intenzivnemu razvoju informacijsko-komunikacijskih storitev. Spremenil se je način sodelovanja tako med učenci in učitelji kot tudi med učenci samimi. V povezavi s tem je zelo pomembno njihovo zadovoljstvo ob uporabi IKT storitev, saj le zadovoljen učitelj lahko uspešno in učinkovito prenaša znanje na svoje učence in samo zadovoljen učenec se lahko uči kvalitetno in odgovorno ter je pripravljen na timsko delo. Diplomska naloga v teoretičnem delu prikazuje razvoj IKT storitev v osnovnih šolah in njihove osnovne elemente. Prav tako prikazuje položaj uporabnikov, torej učencev in učiteljev ob uporabi IKT storitev. Ob obrazložitvi funkcije IKT smo opozorili na pasti, na katere lahko učitelji in učenci naletijo ob njeni uporabi pri pouku. Cilj naše diplomske naloge je ugotoviti zadovoljstvo učiteljev in učencev ob uporabi IKT storitev v slovenskih osnovnih šolah. V empiričnem delu smo s pomočjo ankete izvedli raziskavo zadovoljstva učiteljev in učencev slovenskih osnovnih šol ob uporabi IKT storitev. Uporabili smo dva ločena vprašalnika za učitelje in učence. Večina vprašanj je zaprtega tipa, nekaj pa jih je tudi odprtega. Anketirali smo naključno izbrane učitelje posameznih osnovnih šol in učence od vključno tretjega do vključno devetega razreda osnovne šole. Po opravljeni raziskavi smo rezultate interpretirali. Zadovoljstvo učiteljev in učencev smo preučevali z več različnih vidikov, tako da smo pridobili širok spekter pokazateljev njihovega zadovoljstva. Ugotavljali smo zadostnost računalniške strojne in programske opreme, pogostost uporabe IKT storitev pri pouku, učinek uporabe na uspehe učencev, njihovo zadovoljstvo z lastnim znanjem o uporabi sodobnih tehnologij ter splošno zadovoljstvo s celotno IKT storitvijo v osnovni šoli. Na koncu smo podali splošne zaključke o zadovoljstvu učiteljev in učencev ob uporabi IKT storitev v osnovnih šolah in možnosti izboljšav na posameznih področjih. Učitelji so zadovoljni z računalniško strojno opremo, prav tako so zadovoljni s programsko opremo, razen z obstoječimi programi za spremljanje učenčevega napredka. Učencem so učne ure ob uporabi IKT storitev bolj zanimive kot klasične, prav tako se ob njihovi pomoči hitreje naučijo predpisano učno snov.

Title:
MEASURING USER SATISFACTION WITH ICT SERVICES IN PRIMARY SCHOOL
Abstract:
In the last decades, we have witnessed tremendous development in ICT services, even in primary schools. It has changed the way of cooperation between students and teachers, as well as among students. Regarding all this, it is very important for them to be satisfied with the use of ICT services. This is the main condition for the teachers to be successful in what they do, and to effectively transfer their knowledge to students. It is also very important for students to be satisfied with the use of ICT services because consequently they have high quality of learning and are prepared for teamwork. The evolution of this teaching technology and its features in the primary school throughout the years is shown in the theoretical part of the thesis. The main functions of ICT services and its issues are also presented in the thesis. The most important part to be fulfilled is users’ knowledge about the use of ICT technologies and suitable ICT technology. The goal of this thesis is to measure the teachers' and students' satisfaction by using ICT services in Slovenian primary schools. In the first part we used questionnaires to study actual teachers’ and students’ satisfaction by using ICT services in Slovenian primary schools. Questionnaires used in the research in Slovene primary schools were separated for teachers and for students. Most of them are closed type questions but some are free style. We randomly choose individual teachers and also students between third and ninth class for our research. The results are interpreted in the second part of the thesis. Their satisfaction was studied in different ways and from different perspectives. Their satisfaction with hardware and software was measured first. Then the actual use of the ICT services during the lectures and its effect on students’ grades and final success was measured. We also wanted to know the opinions of the teachers about their own competences and how satisfied they are with the use of ICT technologies in general. At the end of the thesis are given general conclusions about the teachers’ and students’ satisfactions in using the ICT technologies in primary schools. There are also our future expectations about how to improve contentment on each level. Teachers are satisfied with hardware and also with software, except with the software system for measuring students’ progress in knowledge. Students prefer to participate in the lessons where ICT is used and this is also the reason why they are able to learn more effectively.
