Title:Motivating employees in the company Kimi, d.o.o.
Abstract:The bachelor's degree consist of theoretical and empirical work. First we examined the opinions of various authors on the concept of motivation, motivational process and presented achievement motivation. For easier understanding we also presented the concept of motive. Further theoretical work is focused on the importance of motivating employees in the organization and to present the motivational factors that leaders can use for motivating their logistics staff. To obtain data for the empirical work we used the method of interview. We wanted to find out what motivational methods are being used by a warehouse manager in the selected company for increasing business efficiency. After we completed the first interview with the warehouse manager we compiled a new interview for the employees. We wanted to present motivational methods which were given by the manager to the employees for verifying their eficiency. Through-out the analysis of the response, we came to the conclusion that the company mostly uses unfinancial motivational methods. Motivational methods that have been proven to be the most effective are: communication and listening to the employees, assistance and colleague support at the workplace, and commendation for a job well done.
Keywords:motivational methods, logistics, motivation.
